Pimpri-Chinchwad RTO to Conduct E-Auction of Impounded Vehicles: Here’s What You Need to Know

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Regional Transport Office (RTO) has announced an e-auction for 13 vehicles that have been impounded for offenses under the Motor Vehicle Act and non-payment of motor vehicle taxes. The online auction is scheduled for March 6, from 10 am to 6 pm.

Auction Details and Inspection Period

Interested buyers and the public can inspect the vehicles to be auctioned at the Regional Transport Office premises in Pimpri-Chinchwad during office hours from February 20 to March 5. The list of vehicles, including buses, heavy goods vehicles, light goods vehicles, delivery vans, tourist taxis, and excavators, will also be displayed on notice boards at various offices and the official website https://eauction.gov.in/eauction.

Vehicle owners have the opportunity to clear outstanding vehicle taxes until the date of the auction.

Public E-Auction and Participation Details

The public e-auction will be accessible on the website https://eauction.gov.in/eauction from February 26 to 29. Only registered GST holders will be eligible to participate. Following online registration, interested parties should submit Rs 50,000 for each vehicle at the RTO Pimpri-Chinchwad office between February 26 and March 1, from 10 am to 6 pm.

Cancellation and Contact Information

The Sub-Regional Transport Officer and Taxation Authority reserve the right to cancel or postpone the e-auction without providing a specific reason. For more details and information, individuals are encouraged to contact the Pimpri Chinchwad RTO Office.
