Bhosari (Pune): In adherence to the directives from the Election Commission of India and under the able guidance of the District Collector, Pune, a crucial special brief revision campaign aimed at general voter registration is now underway within the 207 Bhosari Vidhan Sabha Constituency.
The special brief revision program, a vital component of the Electoral Roll Revision Program, was officially launched on October 27 and is scheduled to continue until December 09, 2023. Throughout this period, claims and objections are being accepted, encompassing applications for new voter registrations, corrections of voter list entries, and the removal of deceased voters.
As an integral part of this initiative, residents are encouraged to visit their designated polling stations within the 207 Bhosari Constituency on November 4 and 5, 2023 (Saturday and Sunday), and once more on November 25 and 26, 2023 (Saturday and Sunday), to facilitate their voter registration or necessary corrections. The program is designed to ensure the presence of Booth Level Officers (BLO) even on holidays, with a specific focus on registering a maximum number of new voters, including women, individuals with disabilities, the homeless, and voters from marginalized communities.
