Mumbai : In a recent development, the Mumbai Police detained several individuals, including Munawar Faruqui, winner of Bigg Boss 17, during a raid at a hookah bar located in the Fort area of Mumbai. The raid, conducted by the Mumbai Police’s Social Service Branch, was prompted by a tip-off regarding the use of tobacco-based hookahs disguised as herbal ones at the Sabalan hookah bar in Bora Bazaar.
According to a police officer involved in the operation, the raid was initiated following credible information suggesting the use of tobacco-based hookahs under the guise of herbal ones. The patrons present during the raid, including Munawar Faruqui, were detained for questioning.
