Delhi-Goa Flight Assault: Apology Video Surfaces After Passenger’s Attack on Pilot

A recent video featuring Sahil Kataria, the individual accused of assaulting the captain of a Delhi-Goa Indigo flight (6E-2175), has surfaced, shedding light on the aftermath of the altercation that occurred during the Sunday evening flight.

The altercation unfolded when the pilot announced a flight delay, prompting Kataria to physically assault him. The incident garnered widespread attention after a video capturing the assault went viral on various social media platforms.

In the newly emerged video, Sahil Kataria can be seen expressing remorse with folded hands, offering a sincere apology with a “Sorry Sir” to a person recording the footage. However, the individual behind the camera dismisses the apology with a firm “no sorry.”

Delhi Police officials have confirmed the receipt of a formal complaint and are actively pursuing legal actions in response to the incident. The initial video clip showcases other crew members vehemently confronting the passenger in the aftermath of the assault, with airline staff and an air hostess intervening to restore order.

As a consequence of this unruly behavior, Sahil Kataria faces the potential of being placed on the ‘no-fly’ list, a measure commonly implemented in response to disruptive incidents during flights. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to ensure that appropriate legal repercussions are applied, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
