Highway Triumph: We embarked on a 53km highway journey, pushing the 250 Duke to its limits in top gear at 75-80kph – adhering to the section’s speed limit where our testing takes place. The result? A mere 1.34 litres of fuel consumed, translating to an impressive 39.66kpl on the open road.
Urban Prowess: Navigating the urban jungle, we subjected the quarter-litre Duke to a nearly 48km jaunt through mixed traffic conditions. The thirst this time around was slightly higher, with 1.40 litres of fuel required to brim the tank, yielding a city-wise fuel economy of 29.43kpl.
KTM’s Engineering Marvel: Taller Gearing Advantage: The 2024 KTM 250 Duke boasts taller gearing, a feature inherited from its Gen 3 lineage. This enhancement, both internal and in the final drive, significantly contributes to highway fuel efficiency.
