  1. Genelia Deshmukh – Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, one of Bollywood’s most beloved couples, were among the early adopters of electric cars in India. They own a BMW iX electric SUV, which boasts a 76.6 kWh battery pack and a range of 425 km on a full charge.
  2. Nushrratt Bharuccha – The up-and-coming Bollywood actress recently acquired a BMW iX electric SUV, one of the country’s most expensive electric vehicles. It comes loaded with features, including an electrochromic panoramic glass roof, wireless charging, and more.
  3. Kajol – The renowned actress and wife of Ajay Devgn was spotted in a BMW i7 electric sedan, a flagship EV with a plethora of features, including an 8K cinema screen and touchscreen controls in the rear doors.
  4. Jacqueline Fernandez – The Sri Lankan actress and model, known for her diverse car collection, added a BMW i7 luxury electric sedan to her garage. This 2-crore EV features two electric motors and an impressive range of 591 to 625 km.
  5. Rekha – The veteran Bollywood actress also joined the electric car trend by purchasing a BMW i7 electric sedan, complete with all the high-end features and the convenience of fast charging.
  6. Mandira Bedi – TV host and actress Mandira Bedi chose a Tata Nexon EV, one of India’s best-selling electric vehicles. This SUV generates 129 Ps and 245 Nm of peak torque.
  7. Pooja Batra – Indian actress and former Miss India Pacific, Pooja Batra, resides in the USA and owns a Tesla Model 3, the entry-level model from Tesla.
  8. Manju Warrier – Malayalam actress Manju Warrier made a statement by customizing her Mini Cooper SE electric hatchback, painting it in a striking yellow and black dual-tone shade.
  9. Ulka Gupta – Young Indian television and movie actress Ulka Gupta, famous for her role as young Jhansi Ki Rani, surprised everyone by purchasing a Tata Nexon EV Prime in Teal Blue.

These Indian actresses are setting a great example by adopting electric cars, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future. As EV infrastructure continues to improve across India, we can expect more celebrities to follow suit and make the switch to electric vehicles.
