The Central Railway has announced the operation of 76 “Pandharpur Ashadhi Ekadashi” special trains to cater to the additional rush of passengers. These special trains will run on various routes including Nagpur-Miraj, Nagpur-Pandharpur, New Amravati-Pandharpur, Khamgaon-Pandharpur, Bhusaval-Pandharpur, Latur-Pandharpur, Miraj-Pandharpur, Miraj-Kurduwadi, among others.
The details of the special trains are as follows:
Nagpur-Miraj specials (4 services):
- Train No. 01205 special will depart from Nagpur at 08:50 hrs on 25th and 28th June 2023 and arrive at Miraj at 11:55 hrs the next day.
- Train No. 01206 special will depart from Miraj at 12:55 hrs on 26th and 29th June 2023 and reach Nagpur at 12:25 hrs the next day.
These trains will halt at Ajni, Wardha, Pulgaon, Dhamangaon, Chandur, and other stations as per the route.
In addition to the Central Railway’s special trains, the South Central Railway will also run 6 additional trains for the “Pandharpur Ashadhi Ekadashi” event. These trains will operate on routes such as Jalna-Pandharpur, Pandharpur-Nanded, Aurangabad-Pandharpur, and Adilabad-Pandharpur to manage the extra rush of passengers.
The details of the South Central Railway special trains are as follows:
Jalna-Pandharpur specials (1 special train):
- Train No. 07511 Ashadhi special will depart from Jalna at 19:20 hrs on 27th June 2023 and arrive at Pandharpur at 07:30 hrs the next day.
Pandharpur-Nanded specials (1 special train):
- Train No. 07512 special will depart from Pandharpur at 08:15 hrs on 28th June 2023 and reach Nanded at 20:30 hrs on the same day.
Aurangabad-Pandharpur specials (2 special trains):
- Train No. 07515 special will depart from Aurangabad at 21:40 hrs on 28th June 2023 and arrive at Pandharpur at 11:30 hrs the next day.
- Train No. 07516 special will depart from Pandharpur at 23:30 hrs on 29th June 2023 and reach Aurangabad at 13:45 hrs the next day.
Adilabad-Pandharpur specials (2 special trains):
- Train No. 07501 special will depart from Adilabad at 11:00 hrs on 28th June 2023 and arrive at Pandharpur at 09:20 hrs the next day.
- Train No. 07504 special will depart from Pandharpur at 21:50 hrs on 29th June 2023 and reach Adilabad at 20:45 hrs the next day.
These special trains will have halts at various stations along their routes, providing convenient travel options for passengers.
The composition of the trains will include different classes such as First AC, AC-2 Tier, AC-3 Tier, Sleeper Class, General Second Class, and generator vans as per the specific train.
