Love Takes Flight: Play Airlines Offers Romantic Getaways to Iceland and Europe for $99

In a world where conventional date nights can strain the budget, Play Airlines, the Icelandic low-cost carrier, is making hearts soar with a Valentine’s Day special. The airline is offering flights to Iceland starting at just $99, or $129 for a rendezvous in one of nine European cities. The deal includes a complimentary stopover in Iceland, adding an extra layer of romance to transatlantic travel.

Departing from Boston, Washington, DC, and New York, Play Airlines aims to bring convenience and affordability to travelers. CEO Birgir Jonsson emphasizes the advantages of extended stopovers, stating, “Long stayovers are a win-win for both us and our passengers to enable exploration at a low price.”

Iceland’s captivating natural beauty serves as a magnetic pull for globetrotters. From the renowned Golden Circle route, featuring the Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir geothermal area, to the awe-inspiring Northern Lights and the soothing Blue Lagoon, the country offers an array of picturesque landscapes. Adventure enthusiasts can partake in activities like glacier hiking, ice cave exploration, and whale watching.

The $99 offer, part of Play’s Basic Bundle, is available for booking until February 6, 11:59 pm ET, for one-way flights. Travelers can plan trips between February-May 2024 or September-December 2024, with slightly higher costs during Iceland’s peak summer season.

As love takes flight with Play Airlines, couples and solo travelers alike can seize the opportunity to explore Iceland and Europe without breaking the bank.
