RTX 40 Super Series Launch Dates Leaked: Brace Yourselves for Early 2024

In the run-up to CES 2024, hardware enthusiasts and gamers alike are abuzz with excitement as leaked images of ASUS’ RTX 4070 Dual 12GB GDDR6X Graphics Card have surfaced on social media, promising an enhanced gaming experience. The leak, courtesy of @momomo_us on X (formerly Twitter), offers a sneak peek into the design and features of the anticipated RTX 4070 Super, set to be unveiled at CES 2024.

The leaked images reveal a dual OC model, showcasing an intriguing design based on Nvidia’s Super series. ASUS, a trusted partner in Nvidia’s GeForce GPU production, is at the helm of bringing this graphics card to the market.

The ASUS Dual RTX 4070 Super boasts a striking all-black look with accented white patterns around the fan shroud and GPU backplate. The card features two fans and, notably, a 16-pin power connector, raising questions about whether it adheres to the 12VHPWR or the updated 12V-2×6 standard. However, caution is advised as the leak lacks specifics, and neither ASUS nor Nvidia has confirmed the GPU or its specifications.

As the gaming community eagerly anticipates the RTX 40 Super graphics cards, the hope is that they operate on the updated 12V-2×6 standard for enhanced safety and reliability. The leaked images showcase a promising design, but enthusiasts are urged to await official confirmation from the manufacturers.

While expectations were high for increased VRAM capacity on the RTX 40 Super graphics cards, the leak reveals that the RTX 4070 Super will maintain the same 12GB GDDR6X VRAM as its non-Super counterpart. Despite this, gamers can anticipate higher core and memory speeds, promising a performance uplift across various games.

The box art provides a glimpse into features such as RTX Studio, Nvidia Reflex, Ray-Tracing, and DLSS. Additionally, the ASUS GPU overclocking utility GPU Tweak software is mentioned, reaffirming the card’s OC Variant status.

As the leak sets the stage for the RTX 40 Super series, including the RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4080 Super, and RTX 4070 Ti Super, enthusiasts can expect an early release next year, as suggested by leaks. Further details, including differences compared to non-Super variants, are anticipated to be officially revealed during Nvidia’s Special Address event.
