Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Chooses Netcracker for Enhanced FTTH Services and Business Growth

Indonesian telecommunications operator Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) has announced the expansion of its partnership with Netcracker to bolster its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) services. The move comes in response to a remarkable tenfold increase in FTTH subscribers, reflecting the growing demand for high-speed internet services in the region. The official establishment of this expanded collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the recently concluded MWC Barcelona 2024.

This strategic move aims to address the evolving needs of its business, including the support of Home Broadband (HBB), Fixed-Wireless Access (FWA), and Over-The-Top (OTT) services.

Advancing Home Broadband Business:

The ongoing partnership with Netcracker signifies IOH’s commitment to advancing its home broadband business through expanded digital infrastructure and enhanced connectivity. The company expressed its goal to consistently deliver world-class digital experiences to its customers through a diversified portfolio.

Netcracker’s Role:

According to a joint statement, the Netcracker Digital BSS solution will empower Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison to explore new monetization opportunities and streamline its business operations. The objective is to support the introduction of innovative product and service offerings, keeping pace with the dynamic demands of the telecommunications market.
