Airtel Boosts Retail Reach Across India with Next-Gen Stores in Five Cities

Bharti Airtel has taken a significant step in expanding its retail footprint with the inauguration of next-generation company-owned stores in five Indian cities. The move, aimed at showcasing cutting-edge technologies and enhancing service standards, reflects Airtel’s commitment to providing a seamless experience for its customers.

Store Openings Reflect Airtel’s Commitment

In Ambala, two new stores have opened in Mahesh Nagar and Manav Chowk, bringing the total count of stores in the city to four. Guwahati witnesses the launch of six new stores in Six Mile, VIP Road, Azara, North Guwahati, Colony Bazar, and Adabari, adding to the existing count of 10 stores in the city.

Jaipur welcomes nine new stores in Durgapura, Patrakar colony, Subhash Chowk, Brahampuri, Bhankrota, New Sanganer Road, Murlipura, Jagatpura, and Mansarovar mini, supplementing the existing 19 stores. In Patna, three new stores open in Anisabad, Ashiyana, and Saguna mod, joining the existing six stores. Ranchi sees the opening of a new store on Ratu Road, increasing the total count to four.

Customer-Centric Approach and Airtel’s Offerings

Airtel’s customer-centric approach is reflected in the theme of “winning customers for life.” The newly launched stores are designed to serve as platforms showcasing Airtel’s diverse technologies, including Xstream, Xsafe, and 5G Plus, offering customers access to the full range of Airtel’s services. Trained professionals, known as ‘Airtel Friends,’ will be available to address queries promptly, covering mobile, broadband, and DTH services comprehensively.

Company’s Statement and Continued Focus

Bharti Airtel emphasized its dedication to customer obsession, stating, “Customer obsession continues to be the core tenet driving us at Airtel as we embark on a massive retail expansion in Haryana, North East and Assam, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Jharkhand.” The company sees these regions as significant focus markets and expresses its commitment to ongoing investments.

Recent Developments and National Presence

This recent expansion follows the opening of ten new stores in Cochin and Jabalpur. Airtel’s strategy involves fortifying its retail presence, and with this latest move, the company now boasts a total of 1500 stores nationwide.
