Maharashtra Government Now Powered by Three Engines as Ajit Pawar Takes Oath as Deputy Chief Minister

Mumbai, July 2nd, 2023: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his enthusiasm as NCP leader Ajit Pawar joined the state government, stating that Maharashtra’s development would gain momentum with the addition of another engine.

“With the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we had a double engine government. Now, with the inclusion of Ajit Pawar, we have three engines driving progress, and the development of the state will accelerate,” said CM Eknath Shinde.

While welcoming Ajit Pawar, Shinde also criticized the NCP, suggesting that the party would struggle to secure even three or four seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The recent addition to the government signifies the state’s commitment to efficient governance and growth.
