Maharashtra Assembly session: Shiv Sena (Thackeray) boycotts customary tea party

Mumbai, Jul 16 (UNI) The Shiv Sena (Thackeray) has boycotted the customary tea party called by the ruling party on Sunday on eve of the Monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislature.

As per the tradition, the Shinde government has organised a tea party for the leaders of all parties in the evening.

In a tweet, Uddhav faction’s MLA Sunil Raut said, “We will boycott the customary tea party (organised by the government ahead of the Monsoon session). People are confused as to who is the Chief Minister — Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis or Ajit Pawar.”

“There are only two brands in Maharashtra, one is the Thackeray brand and the other is the Sharad Pawar brand,” he tweeted.
