Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ Takes Government Schemes to Pune’s Doorsteps

In a groundbreaking initiative to bridge the gap between citizens and central government schemes, the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” unfolded in Pune, making key programs accessible at strategic locations across the city. With the aid of an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Mobile Theater Van and informative stalls, the endeavor aimed to inform Pune residents about a spectrum of government initiatives.

Outreach Success in Four Locations: At Lohianagar, Ramoshi Gate, Vegetable Market Vadgaon Sheri, and Shivajiputla, Chandannagar, the Yatra yielded impressive results. A total of 571 citizens directly benefited from schemes like Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Gas Yojana, Health Checkup, Aadhaar Update, and more. Additionally, 1982 citizens received detailed information about these central government initiatives.

Dignitaries Graced the Event: Former Standing Committee Chairman Hemant Rasane, former corporator Manisha Ladkat, former corporator Shital Shinde, Dnyaneshwar Shinde, and Sandeep Jarad lent their presence, highlighting the significance of the outreach. Citizens expressed satisfaction at the prospect of easily accessing crucial schemes in their localities.

Central Government Schemes Featured: The citizens had access to a range of central government schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Gas Yojana, National Tuberculosis Eradication Programme, Aadhaar Update, Poor Welfare Food Security Scheme, Urban Poor Scheme of Pune Municipality, and Free Health Checkup.

  1. Kharadigaon – 10 AM to 1 PM
  2. Joggers Park, Vimannagar – 3 PM to 6 PM
  3. Near SPM School – 10.30 AM to 1.30 PM
  4. Near Senadatta Police Chowky – 3 PM to 6 PM

28 December 2023:

  1. CCD Chowk Vimannagar – 10 AM to 1 PM
  2. Lohgaon Vegetable Market – 3 PM to 6 PM
  3. Sant Gadagemaharaj Colony, Koregaon Park – 10.30 AM to 1.30 PM
  4. Burning Ghat Colony – 3 PM to 6 PM

Nitin Udas, Deputy Commissioner, Social Development Department, Pune Municipal Corporation, urged citizens to actively participate in the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” and take advantage of the available central government schemes.
