Amaravati, July 17 (UNI) Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period.
Strong winds with speed of 30-40 kmph likely in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely to occur at a few places or at one or two places or at many places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
Rainfall occurred at many places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places in Rayalaseema & Yanam during the last 24 hours.
Southwest monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and weak in Rayalaseema, the report added.
