Yoga Day Celebrations At National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla: Fostering Health And Harmony

Khadakwasla: In commemoration of the 9th International Yoga Day, a special yoga session was organized at the National Defence Academy (NDA) on 21st June 2023, from 6:30 am to 7:15 am. The event witnessed the active participation of personnel from all three services, led by Vice Admiral Ajay Kochhar, AVSM, NM, Commandant of NDA.

Prior to the yoga session, a brief lecture was conducted to emphasize the significance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well-being. The session lasted for 45 minutes and encompassed a range of activities, including meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises), and various asanas (yoga postures).
