Whether you want to organize your favorite videos or create a playlist for your audience, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create a YouTube playlist on both the YouTube web and YouTube app platforms.

Creating a YouTube Playlist on YouTube Web:

Step 1: Sign in to your YouTube account and navigate to the video you want to add to your playlist.

Step 2: Below the video player, locate the “Save” button and click on it.

Step 5: Click on the “Create” button to finalize the creation of your playlist.

Step 6: Repeat steps 1-5 for any additional videos you want to include in your playlist.

To view or edit your playlist, go to the “Library” section on the left menu of the YouTube web interface and click on your playlist’s name.

Creating a YouTube Playlist on the YouTube App:

Step 1: Launch the YouTube app on your mobile device and sign in with your Google account.

Step 2: Find and play the video you wish to add to your playlist.

Step 3: Below the video, tap and hold the “Save” button.

Step 4: From the options that appear, select “New playlist.”

Step 5: Provide a name for your playlist and choose the desired privacy setting (public, unlisted, or private).

Step 6: Tap on the “Create” button to complete the playlist creation.

Step 7: Repeat steps 2-6 for any additional videos you want to add to your playlist.

To view or edit your playlist, tap the “Library” tab at the bottom of the YouTube app interface and select your playlist from the list.

Additionally, there have been reports from The Wall Street Journal that YouTube is working on a new feature called “Playables” that will enable users to play games online. This feature is currently in testing, with YouTube employees trying out the new product and playing games such as Stack Bounce.

Creating and managing YouTube playlists is a convenient way to organize and share your favorite videos or curate content for your audience. Whether you use the YouTube web or mobile app, following these simple steps will allow you to create personalized playlists that enhance your YouTube experience.
