PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana 2023: Online Application Process to Begin Soon

The Central government is set to launch the online application process for the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana 2023. This scheme, also known as PM Vikas Yojana, was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during the presentation of the Union Budget 2023-24. In this article, we will provide you with information about the registration process and other details of the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana.

The PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana aims to support traditional artisans and craftspeople, commonly known as Vishwakarma, who have contributed significantly to India’s reputation for centuries. Their art and handicraft represent the true spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India). For the first time, a comprehensive assistance package has been conceptualized to help them enhance the quality, scale, and reach of their products, integrating them into the MSME value chain.

The components of the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana will include financial support, advanced skill training, knowledge of modern digital techniques and green technologies, brand promotion, market linkage, digital payments, and social security. This scheme will particularly benefit Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, women, and individuals from economically weaker sections.

The online application process for PM Vikas Yojana has not been initiated yet. As soon as the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana’s online application process begins, we will provide updates here. Applicants interested in skill training under the scheme are advised to fill out the online registration form once it becomes available.

The PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana is a significant step towards empowering traditional artisans and craftspeople, providing them with opportunities for growth, skill enhancement, and market integration. It reflects the government’s commitment to promoting the cultural heritage of India while ensuring economic empowerment for marginalized sections of society.
