Van Gogh 360° Exhibition Transforms Pune into a Canvas of Immersive Art

Pune is currently hosting a unique and engaging Vincent Van Gogh exhibition that transforms traditional art showcases into immersive and interactive encounters. From February 28 to March 31, 2024, attendees have the opportunity to delve into the mesmerizing world of Van Gogh, experiencing animated versions of both renowned and lesser-known paintings.

Unlike conventional exhibits, this immersive experience, known as Van Gogh 360°, promises a multisensory journey through the genius of Vincent Van Gogh. Operating from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, visitors can secure tickets starting from Rs 1,099, with multiple time slots available for convenient planning.

After a successful run in Mumbai last year, where over 250,000 tickets were sold, the Van Gogh exhibition in Pune aims to captivate art enthusiasts. The 45-minute to an hour-long experience showcases life-sized projections, highlighting brushstrokes, details, and colors, creating a three-dimensional encounter with Van Gogh’s masterpieces.

Roma Makkad, spokesperson for Van Gogh 360, expressed excitement about the Pune launch, stating, “Pune, get ready to be captivated by the magic of Van Gogh like never before. It’s not just an art show; it’s a celebration of creativity and a journey into the brilliance of one of the greatest artists in history.”

Kunal Khambhati, Head of Live Events and IP at BookMyShow, emphasized the transformative nature of Van Gogh 360°, offering a unique and immersive experience showcasing the extraordinary work of Vincent Van Gogh.

Despite the excitement surrounding the exhibition, some attendees, such as student Vaidehi Nachane, suggest considering age restrictions to maintain a serene atmosphere. Concerns have also been raised about the potential dilution of Van Gogh’s significance if such exhibitions become too commonplace.

For those eager to explore Van Gogh’s masterpieces in Pune, tickets can be booked through BookMyShow.
