In an electrifying showcase of knowledge and intellect, Ritika Bansal, a student from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Pune, clinched victory at the Cluster 11 Finals of the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2023. This prestigious business quiz, representing the Maharashtra region, witnessed remarkable performances from all participants.
Ritika Bansal’s impressive win secured her a cash prize of Rs. 35,000* and a coveted spot in the upcoming Zonal Finals. The runner-up position was secured by Charu Sharma from Symbiosis Centre for Media & Communication (SCMC), Pune, who received a cash prize of Rs. 18,000*.
The Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2023 divided the country into 24 Clusters. After a rigorous online preliminary round, the top 12 finalists from each Cluster advanced to the Wild Card Finals, with the top 6 finalists progressing to the online Cluster Finals. These Clusters are further categorized into four zones – south, east, west, and north, with Zonal Finals also conducted online. The pinnacle of this competition, the National Finals, will be held as an in-person event.
Cluster winners and runners-up will each receive cash prizes, with Rs. 35,000* and Rs. 18,000* awarded respectively. The top two scorers from the Zonal Finals will advance to the National Finals.
The National Finals will feature 8 finalists vying for the title of National Champion, a grand prize of Rs. 2.5 lakhs*, and the prestigious Tata Crucible Trophy. Furthermore, this year’s National winner and the top two scorers at the National Finals stand a chance to secure internships* with the esteemed Tata Group.
The quizmaster for this edition is Giri Balasubramaniam, known as ‘Pickbrain,’ an acclaimed quizmaster and Tata Crucible veteran. He will be accompanied by Quiz Co-host Rashmi Furtado.
Since its inception in 2004, Tata Crucible, a knowledge initiative by the Tata Group, has provided a platform for young minds to showcase their quizzing prowess, fostering curiosity and innovative thinking through quizzing.
