New Iconic Skins and LTM Revealed in Apex Legends x Post Malone Event

Apex Legends Season 19 has already taken the gaming world by storm with the introduction of Conduit and her unique shield healing abilities. But the excitement doesn’t stop there. In a groundbreaking move, the rockstar sensation Post Malone has teamed up with Apex Legends, ushering in the game’s most significant collaboration to date. This partnership not only brings fresh cosmetics but also introduces a captivating limited-time mode (LTM) for players to enjoy. Let’s delve into all the exciting details of this in-game event.

Apex Legends x Post Malone Event Details

For those who may not know, Austin Richard Post, famously known as Post Malone, is a massive fan of Apex Legends. During the lockdown period, he even live-streamed the game on Twitch, where he joined popular streamers like iiTzTimmy in exciting matches. Now, iiTzAusty, as he’s known on Twitch, has extended his love for the game into an in-game partnership, promising “two weeks of beautiful mayhem.”

The Apex Legends x Post Malone event kicks off on November 7th and will run until November 21st. Drawing inspiration from Fortnite, this collaboration introduces a new “Iconic” skin tier, distinguishable by its teal color in-game. These iconic skins, created in partnership with and inspired by Post Malone, will be available for Octane, Wraith, Horizon, and Lifeline. Players can expect to see Wraith adorned with face tattoos, while Octane’s style in this event’s skin is unrivaled.

Besides the iconic skins, the event will feature additional cosmetics for weapons and event-themed stickers. Respawn has shared that players who unlock all 20 event-themed stickers, available from November 7th, will receive three Legendary stickers.

In addition to iconic skins, bundles, and stickers, the event introduces a rewards shop where players can unlock free cosmetics. Similar to the compute nodes in Season 17, players will need to earn “Camo Credits” by completing daily challenges. These credits can then be used in the rewards shop to acquire skins, banners, battle pass levels, and more.

Three Strikes LTM in Apex Legends: How It Works?

While the event includes the usual cosmetic offerings, it also presents the exciting debut of a new LTM, “Three Strikes.” As the name suggests, this mode gives players three chances to prove their skills in the game.

If you’re a fan of hot-dropping into intense action, this mode makes it even more exhilarating. Unlike the usual “Back to the lobby simulator” scenario, you won’t be sent back to the lobby instantly when your squad gets eliminated. Instead, you’ll be resurrected with all your gear, attachments, armor (with Evo progression), and inventory intact, ready to face your opponents once more.

You have the opportunity to respawn twice, but the third time you and your squad meet their fate, it’s game over. To keep things competitive and thrilling, Respawn has introduced some additional rules.

Downed enemies cannot be finished off in this mode, making them truly invincible. There’s no countdown timer, meaning downed players can crawl across the map to their teammates. Additionally, shield swaps are not allowed in this fast-paced game mode. However, there’s an option to respawn quickly, which takes just two seconds and restores you with approximately 70 HP, allowing you to jump back into the action and support your team.

As for the final zones in this LTM, the strikes functionality will be disabled as you approach the late game, preventing squads from flying in during the closing stages. The specifics of this game mode have been left for players to explore and discover when they dive into the action next week.

Are you ready for action-packed, adrenaline-pumping matches in the new Three Strikes LTM? What Post Malone song will be your anthem as you battle it out against rival squads? Whatever your choice, be sure to add “Too Cool to Die” to your playlists for the ultimate gaming experience.
