Conrad Pune recently announced the promotion of Rahul Bhagat to the position of hotel manager. Having previously served as the director of operations, Bhagat has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Bhagat boasts an impressive background in the hospitality industry, having completed his hotel management graduation from IHMCTAN Mumbai, the country’s flagship institute. His journey began as a corporate leadership trainee with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, where he honed his skills and quickly progressed to managerial roles at renowned properties such as Hyatt Regency Mumbai, Grand Hyatt Goa, and Hyatt Regency Ludhiana.
In October 2015, Bhagat joined Conrad Pune as an assistant director of food and beverage, playing a vital role in the successful opening of the hotel. Over the years, he showcased his expertise and dedication, leading to his appointment as director of food & beverage in February 2017.
With his responsibilities extended to overseeing seven diverse outlets and managing a substantial banqueting space of 20,000 square feet, Bhagat played a pivotal role in driving effective marketing initiatives and enhancing guest satisfaction. In recognition of his exemplary leadership, Conrad Pune was awarded the Best F&B Department in the entire APAC region of Hilton Hotels in 2018.
Continuing to excel, Bhagat was further promoted to the role of director of operations in June 2021 and assumed the position of GM in-charge for Conrad Pune in July 2021. Under his adept leadership, the hotel flourished, achieving new heights in service excellence, operational efficiency, and market positioning.
Adding to his accolades, Bhagat successfully undertook the opening of the Italian rooftop restaurant, AlDiLa, in December 2021, further expanding Conrad Pune’s culinary offerings. He also led the setup of an additional 41 guest rooms, expanding Conrad Pune’s inventory to 351 rooms.
