Celebrating Excellence: Winners Unveiled at the 57th Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards

The 57th Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards ceremony marked a day of celebration and recognition as numerous artists were honored for their outstanding contributions. The event, attended by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, showcased the richness of Marathi cinema.

Achyut Chopade, the director of the Marathi film ‘Vegli Vaat,’ took home the prestigious Best Debut Film Director award, reflecting the diversity and talent within the industry.

Notable awards included the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award 2022 presented to Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award 2021 to Sonu Nigam, and the Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award 2022 bestowed upon the veteran actress Helen.
