Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s latest romantic drama, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, has emerged as a box office success, crossing the Rs 50 crore milestone within the first nine days of its release. The film, directed by debutants Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, has garnered positive reviews for its unique storyline and impressive performances by the lead actors.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film kicked off its box office journey with a decent opening, collecting Rs 6.7 crore on the first day, followed by Rs 9.65 crore on the second day. As of day 9, early estimates suggest that the movie earned approximately ₹4.75 crore nett in India, bringing the total box office collection to Rs 51.95 crore nett.
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya follows the story of Shahid, who introduces Kriti to his family, unaware that the woman he has fallen in love with is a robot. The film, with a runtime of 143.15 minutes, received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Addressing the film’s success and fan anticipation for a sequel, Kriti Sanon expressed on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), “With all the love pouring in, I’m sure Amit & Aradhana (writers & directors) are compelled to write Part 2 soooonnnn! ❤️.”
