Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya on February 20, 2024, in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Samrat Choudhary. Established under the Ministry of Education in 2015, IIM Bodh Gaya has grown from its modest beginnings to become a center of academic excellence with a focus on inclusive learning.

Since its inception, IIM Bodh Gaya has seen a remarkable evolution, expanding from its inaugural batch of 30 students to an impressive enrollment of over 1,110 students hailing from 293 cities and 26 states. The institute has been committed to academic excellence and inclusive learning, with female students constituting more than 31.67% of the student body.
State-of-the-Art Infrastructure
The new permanent campus boasts state-of-the-art smart classrooms, designed to provide a future-ready learning experience. The library, named Pragyata, stands as a knowledge hub, efficiently managing vast resources through Open Source Software.
Beyond Academics: Enriching Student Life
Apart from academic facilities, the campus features a sports complex with modern gym facilities and provisions for badminton, basketball, football, and cricket, fostering a vibrant student life. The hostel facilities prioritize healthy living, with an emphasis on millet-based cuisine. Additionally, the campus is equipped with a medical center, along with four towers dedicated to faculty and staff residences.
Dual Inauguration: IIT Hyderabad Campus Development
In a dual celebration on the same day, at 11 am, PM Modi will also dedicate the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad Campus Development to the nation. Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, will be present at the event, marking another significant milestone in the realm of education.
