CBSE Supplementary Exams: Classes 10 and 12 Set to Commence on July 6

New Delhi, June 28, 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the supplementary exams of classes 10 and 12 for the year 2023. According to the latest updates, the practical exams will take place from July 6 to July 20. Students who are appearing for the supplementary exams can access the official notice on the main CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE released the date sheet for the supplementary exams on June 1. The supplementary exam for class 10 will start on July 17 and conclude on July 22, while the class 12 supplementary exam will be conducted on July 17. As per the timetable, both exams for classes 10 and 12 will begin at 10:30 am and end at 1:30 pm.

To check the CBSE supplementary exam schedule, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in. Step 2: Click on the link provided for either ‘Date Sheet for Supplementary Exam 2023 for Class 12’ or ‘Date Sheet for Supplementary Exam 2023 for Class 10.’ Step 3: A PDF file will open, displaying the subjects and respective exam dates. Step 4: Download the CBSE supplementary exam 2023 schedule for future reference.

Regular students will appear for their practical exams in their respective schools, while private candidates are advised to appear at the same location as their theory exam center for the supplementary exams. The board has instructed schools to upload the students’ practical exam scores on the portal on the same day as the exam. CBSE has also stated that requests for mark changes will not be entertained.

On May 12, CBSE announced the results of the board exams for classes 10 and 12. This year, the pass percentage for class 10 was 93.12 percent, while the overall pass percentage for class 12 was 87.33 percent. In 2023, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 90.68 percent, surpassing them by 6.01 percent. Trivandrum emerged as the top-performing region in the country with a remarkable pass percentage of 99.91.
