In the Kondhwa area of Pune city, a disturbing incident of molestation of three minor girls by a 31-year-old person took place. This incident transpired in the parking space of a residential society in the Kondhwa area on February 2 at 8:30 p.m. and on Sunday, February 4, at around 8 p.m.
In this regard, a complaint was lodged against the accused, Savej Haseem, a resident of Mithanagar, by the 32-year-old mother of the victim girl at Kondhwa police station on Monday, February 5.
The accused and victim girls live in the same residential building in Kondhwa. On Friday, at around 8.30 in the evening, the plaintiff’s 9-year-old daughter was playing with two of her 10-year-old friends in the parking space of the society. At that time, the accused inappropriately touched the daughter of the plaintiff along with her two friends.
After that, again on Sunday, at around 8 p.m., when girls were playing in the society, the accused further molested them by misbehaving with them. After learning about this incident, the mother of one of the girls filed a police complaint against the accused at Kondhwa police station.
Taking note of the police complaint of the plaintiff, police booked the accused under IPC 354 and POCSO Acts 8 and 12 and initiated further investigation into the case under the leadership of Assistant Police Inspector Jadhav.
