Pune: Reckless Lamborghini driver crushes dog on Fergusson College road

Pune: A speedy Lamborghini car ran over a dog on Fergusson College road on Monday afternoon. The dog died on the spot. The incident happened at around 1.30 pm on Monday at Goodluck Hotel Chowk. A case was registered against the driver of the blue colour Laborghini car. A complaint was lodged by Nina Naresh Rai (57).

According to the details, the complainant is a social activist. The speedy Lamborghini hit the dog at Goodluck Hotel Chowk on Monday afternoon, in which the canine died. The driver of the car did not stop after the incident and sped away.

The complainant narrated the incident to the police. However, the police were not ready to file a complaint. The complainant and other people insisted that they wanted to lodge a complaint. Then the police relented. The complainant alleged that the car owner was summoned by the police but his name was not mentioned in the FIR.

Meanwhile, the Deccan Gymkhana Police registered a case under sections 279 and 429 of the IPC and sections 11(1), 11 (A) (L) of the Prevention of Cruelty To Animals Act, 1960. The investigation was underway.
