Pune: Loni Kalbhor Police Incarcerated a Young Man in Molestation Charges

Molestation Case

Pune: Loni Kalbhor police apprehended a young man for molesting a college-going girl by repeatedly chasing and pursuing her to talk with him. In this regard, a 21-year-old girl living in Manjari Budruk filed a police complaint against Sahil Amrit Kalbhor, 21, a resident of Loni Kalbhor, at the police station.

The incident of molestation took place on Wednesday, February 14, at 3 p.m. on the college premises of Loni Kalbhor and at the young lady’s residence. Meanwhile, the girl complained that the accused man had been chasing and harassing her since 2020.

The girl complained that the accused was in one-sided love with her and was repeatedly trying to talk with her. For this reason, he repeatedly chased her and tried to talk to her while she was travelling to and from college. However, as the girl was not at all interested in him, she refused his friend request.

Meanwhile, the accused went unhinged over her and threatened the girl with injuring himself if she did not talk to him. Shockingly, he also attempted to cut his hand with the sharp weapon. He also once intruded into the girl’s house and abused her indecently.

On Wednesday, as the girl headed to college, the accused trailed her until she arrived, forcibly removed her from the premises, gripped her hand tightly, and confined her within his car. In the car, he attempted to molest the girl by making some unwelcome advances at her.

Following the girl’s complaint, Loni Kalbhor police booked the accused under IPC 354A, 354D, 341, 342, 452, 504, and 506 and apprehended him. The police sub-inspector, Dhaygude, is conducting further investigation into the case.
