Pune: Girl robbed of gold chain on Pashan tekdi; FIR registered at Chatuhshrungi police station

PUNE: The incidents of robberies are increasing every day. Two days ago, a 25-year-old youth was looted by 12 people after threatening him with a pistol. An FIR was registered at the Hadapsar police station and the probe was handed over to the Crime Branch.

Now, an incident has taken place wherein a 22-year-old girl was robbed on the Pashan tekdi by two persons. An FIR has been registered at the Chaturshringi police station. The girl was robbed of a gold chain worth ₹50,000 and there is an atmosphere of fear in the area.

According to the police, on the afternoon of September 10, the complainant and her friends had gone for a walk on the tekdi on the Pashan-Sus road. At that time, two robbers threatened them and snatched her gold chain worth ₹50,000 and disappeared. API Patil is probing the case.

Since last few days, many incidents of citizens, who had gone for a walk on the tekdi, being robbed have taken place. These incidents are happening at various places in the city and the robbers have posed a challenge to them.
