PUNE: Since a boy was locked up in a bathroom by one of his friends as a prank, he knocked on the bathroom door. The class teacher, who was angry, threatened the 12-year-old boy and assaulted him with a steel rod.
The boy’s father, a resident of Chinchwadgaon, has lodged a complaint (152/23) with the Kothrud police. The police have registered an FIR against a class teacher from Right Bhusari Colony under the Juvenile Justice Act.
According to the police, there is a private class in Right Bhusari Colony. The complainant’s 12-year-old son goes to the class. On July 2 at 2.30 pm, the boy had gone to the bathroom. One of his friends locked the door from outside.
Since the boy was locked up, he knocked on the door loudly. A class teacher scolded the boy and told him, “Your upbringing is very bad and you have a poor IQ. I will make you roam around naked in the slum and I will hand you over to the police,” and assaulted him with a steel rod on his hand. The boy received injuries on his hand. The police have registered an FIR according to the Juvenile Justice Act. PSI Pandhre is probing the case.
