Pune: A molestation of a 22-year-old woman took place by threatening to withdraw the complaint took place in Mohammadwadi. In this matter a case has been registered against four people in Kondhwa police station. The incident took place on August 20 around 9 pm in the parking lot of the victim’s house.
A 22-year-old woman has filed a complaint in Kondhwa police station on Thursday, August 24. Accordingly, an FIR has been filed against Rakesh Varkul, Vinayak Mirajkar, Surekha Mirajkar, Shukra Mirajkar under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 354, 504, 506 and 34.
According to the police, the victim has filed a complaint against the accused. The accused threatened the woman to withdraw the complaint. On the day of the incident, after coming from work, the young woman went to park her car in the parking lot of her house. At that time the accused Rakesh Varkul came near her and molested the woman on the pretext of starting her car quoted by the complainant. Kondhwa police are further investigating the case.
