Pune:A shocking incident has taken place in Pune, where a school-going teenager was brutally beat by a few children with a belt, iron rod, and knives. In this assault, the school-going boy was seriously injured, and he has been taking medical treatment at Sassoon Hospital.
This incident took place in the Ramoshi Gate area of Pune on Tuesday, January 30, at around 3.30 p.m. In this regard, the assaulted boy filed a complaint against four minors at Khadak police station.
As per the information, the plaintiff boy is studying in class 10 of the municipality school in the Ramoshi Gate area of Bhawani Peth. The accused minors are also studying in class 10 at an Urdu school in the same locality.
The complainant reported that, a few days ago, he had an argument with one boy due to staring at each other. Having anger over that dispute in mind, the accused boy told this incident to his school friends, who in turn decided to take revenge on it.
Accordingly, they targeted the plaintiff on January 30, when he was returning to his home after school. At that time, the accused obstructed the plaintiff, abusing him in derogatory language for confronting one of their friends.
Suddenly, the accused children unleashed a heavy assault on the plaintiff with leather belts, iron rods, and knives. They assaulted him on his hands and legs and stabbed the knife in the right side of the chest with the intention of killing him.
After that, the accused fled from the scene, leaving the plaintiff injured on the roadside. After that, on the basis of the plaintiff’s complaint, police booked all four accused under the Maharashtra Police Act, including IPC 307, 323, 504, and 34. The boy, who was seriously injured in this incident, is undergoing treatment at Sassoon Hospital. Meanwhile, further investigation is being handled by the Sub-Inspector of Women Police, Pawar.
