Pune: Three people swindled the person by taking his documents for the bank loan process and later refusing to pay the required bank amount and its instalments. In this regard, Chandannagar police have registered a case of fraud against three people and started an investigation into the case.

Atul Sampat Chavare, a resident of Thite Vasti, Kharadi, Pune, registered a police complaint regarding it at Chandannagar Police Station. Accordingly, police booked Akash Pawar, a resident of Nehrunagar, Pimpri, Arif Shsikh, a resident of Bhawani Peth, and Nidhi Pillay, a resident of Vishrantwadi, under IPC 406, 420, 506, and 34.

As per the police information, all three accused lured the plaintiff with a large amount in return for taking a banking loan in the plaintiff’s name. For this, the accused enticed the plaintiff with a significant amount. Accordingly, the accused took the plaintiff’s and his wife’s Aadhaar card, PAN card, light bill, and other documents from him and submitted them to the bank.

On the basis of these documents, the accused took loans from the bank and purchased three bikes with them. Later, when the plaintiff tried to contact the accused regarding the terms of the contract between them, one of the accused, Akash Pawar, abused the plaintiff and threatened to kill him. Shockingly, Pawar also refused to pay their loan amount and its instalments, which they had taken on the plaintiff’s documents.

After realising that he had been cheated, the plaintiff rushed to Chandannagar Police Station and filed a police complaint against all the accused. Further investigation in this case is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Khandekar.
