Odisha STF arrests man working in Pune-based IT company for selling information to Pakistani spies

PUNE: The Special task Force of Odisha has arrested an employee of a city-based software company. He is involved in selling of OTP and the sharing scam. He was in touch with Pakistani spies. The incident took place from 2018. The man, who hails from Satara district, was working in a reputed IT company in Pune. He has now been arrested by the police.

Abhijeet Sanjay Jambure has been arrested in Pune. After getting a three-day transitional remand from the Pune court, he was taken to Bhubaneswar in Odisha. Jambure has completed his post graduation from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University in Anand in Gujarat and later was working in a well-known software company in Pune.

Abhijit was in touch with two officers of the Pakistani intelligence agency. From 2018, he came in contact with Sayyad Danish Ali from Khanki, Faisalabad through Facebook Messenger. He told him that he was working in a US IT company Cheg as a freelancer. Abhijit had given his user ID and password to Danish. Danish was working in Cheg as per Abhijit’s advice. However, the income was being deposited in Abhijit’s account. Abhijit had to pay a price for ‘help’ rendered by Danish.
