Kolhapur, Jul 19 (UNI) A four-year old girl was killed on the spot after being run over by Municipal Transport city bus at Sane Guruji Vasahat, a suburb of the city, on Wednesday.
The girl’s mother, Sneha Ratnadeep Kharat, was on way to school to drop her daughter Sanskruti on a two-wheeler.
On a speed breaker, Sneha lost control on the vehicle and Sanskruti, who was riding pillon, fell down on the road, and at that time, a Kolhapur Municipal Transport city bus, which was coming from behind, suddenly ran over her, police said.
In this incident, the minor died on the spot.
Further investigation is on, sources added.
