Dramatic Rescue: Pune Authorities Save Abducted 12-Year-Old from Katraj, Search Intensifies for Suspect

In a harrowing incident that unfolded on Sunday evening, a 12-year-old boy from Bhilarewadi, Pune, was allegedly abducted by Rajesh Suresh Shelar. The boy’s father, engaged in property dealings, adds a layer of complexity to the case, prompting authorities to launch an intensified investigation into Shelar’s motives and connections.

Through meticulous technical analysis of phone calls, law enforcement discovered that the suspect had secluded the child in the hilly terrain of Patheghar, Satara district. Swift action by the Crime Branch Unit 2, in collaboration with Satara police, led to the successful location and rescue of the boy, reuniting him with his family unharmed.

While the rescue operation was a success, the suspect, Rajesh Suresh Shelar, managed to evade capture, making a daring escape from the scene. The police are actively pursuing leads and employing concerted efforts to apprehend all individuals involved in the abduction.
