Pune – A distressing incident has unfolded in Pune as a case has been registered against three individuals, including Superintendent Engineer Prakash Kursunge, for allegedly harassing a disabled woman working as a clerk at the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The accused, identified as Superintending Engineer Prakash Kursunge, Snehal Bondre, and Vikas Dhware, are facing serious charges following a complaint filed by the victim at Samarth Police Station.
The complaint details that Superintendent Engineer Kursunge initiated the harassment by closely scrutinizing the woman’s work, highlighting errors, and exploiting her disability. Allegedly, he threatened to transfer her to another office while engaging in inappropriate behavior. Co-workers Bondre and Dhware also displayed hostility towards the disabled woman, intensifying the harassment she faced.
The situation took a disturbing turn when Dhware allegedly sprinkled itching powder on the woman’s chair, causing her physical discomfort. The victim endured both verbal and physical harassment in her workplace. Assistant Police Inspector Patil is leading the investigation into this distressing case, aiming to bring justice to the victim.
