Roadside Tragedy: Ahmedabad-Pune Bus Mishap Spurs Investigation into Cement Tanker’s Actions

In a devastating incident on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway, a passenger bus en route to Pune met with a tragic accident. The bus, carrying 23 passengers, plunged 25 feet after breaking through the roadside railing, resulting in two casualties and multiple injuries. The fatal mishap occurred during the bus’s journey from Ahmedabad to Pune.

The unfortunate incident unfolded as a Pune-bound bus, carrying over 20 passengers, found itself in the path of a cement tanker on the expressway. The cement tanker, making an abrupt turn, collided with the bus, causing it to break through the guardrail and tumble down a 25-foot drop. The impact of the collision claimed the lives of two individuals on the spot.

Authorities have promptly registered a case against the tanker driver, citing reckless driving as the cause of the tragic accident.

The tanker driver’s sudden left turn proved fatal, resulting in the loss of two lives, while several others sustained injuries and have been admitted to a nearby hospital. The incident, occurring late on Friday night, has been reported to the local police, who are actively engaged in further investigations.
