The victim, a resident of Kaspate Wasti, filed a complaint with the Wakad Police Station, leading to the initiation of a case against Shambavi Soni, the holder of the Telegram account associated with the fraudulent activity.

According to the police statement, the perpetrator initially contacted the victim using the mobile number 9885419725.
