In a significant display of community spirit and civic engagement, more than 28,000 citizens from Junnar taluka in Pune district have pledged to contribute to the development of India as part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The yatra, an initiative aimed at informing rural citizens about the schemes of the Central and Maharashtra State Governments, has covered 34 villages in the taluka, garnering substantial participation and support.

Scheduled to continue until January 26, 2024, the yatra has already witnessed the active involvement of 30,123 citizens, with 9,573 women, 1,965 students, 67 athletes, and 75 local artists recognized and awarded for their participation.
