Team Swachh Kalyani Nagar (TSKN) has issued a call for urgent action from local authorities to address this environmental concern, highlighting the detrimental impact on air quality, public health, and the overall ecosystem.

The incident on Monday, 11th March 24, at 08:36 AM, saw plumes of smoke engulfing the area due to the improper disposal of waste. The burning of garbage not only poses immediate health risks to residents but also contributes to long-term environmental damage, affecting water sources and biodiversity.

Team Swachh Kalyani Nagar (TSKN) urges the local authorities to consider the following measures:

  1. Immediate Halt to Garbage Burning: Cease all burning of garbage along the riverbank and implement strict measures to prevent such incidents citywide.
