Pune, 22nd November 2023: The three-day program featuring Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, widely known as Bageshwar Baba, took an unforeseen turn yesterday as clashes broke out between volunteers and devotees at Nikam Farm, Sangamwadi. Attended by numerous political leaders, the event faced an abrupt disruption, leading to police intervention and the subsequent resolution of the dispute.
The exact cause of the clashes remains undisclosed, and details surrounding the disagreement are yet to emerge. Reports indicate that the situation escalated to the point where law enforcement had to step in to restore order.
Bageshwar Baba, currently visiting Pune, is renowned for drawing large crowds, with devotees and followers eagerly attending his programs.
