Tragic Drowning: Two-Year-Old Prince Succumbs After Fall into Uncovered Water Tank in Loni Kalbhor

Negligence Leads to Heartbreaking Loss, Sparks Calls for Safety Measures at Construction Sites

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, two-year-old Prince Chandrakumar Koshale tragically lost his life after falling into an uncovered water tank in Loni Kalbhor. The devastating incident occurred in the vicinity of Raiwadi Road during the construction of Ganesh Khedekar’s house, where Prince’s parents, both construction workers, were present.

According to police reports, the underground water tank, left uncovered, posed a deadly hazard for the toddler. Despite desperate attempts to rescue him, Prince succumbed to drowning in the tank.

“The incident, stemming from negligence, has led to the tragic loss of young Prince,” stated Police employee Vijay Jadhav, who filed a complaint at the Loni Kalbhor police station. Prompt action followed as authorities registered a case against the responsible contractor, identified as Bapu Shivram Mane of Sathe Vasti, for alleged negligence in ensuring the safety of the construction site.

“We are deeply saddened by this unfortunate incident. Investigations, led by Police Sub-Inspector Hanumant Tarte, are currently underway,” assured the authorities. The community mourns the loss of the young Prince and emphasizes the urgent need to implement safety measures at construction sites to prevent such tragedies in the future.
