Bhor, August 15, 2023: A heart-wrenching incident has unfolded at Bhatghar Dam, shrouding what was supposed to be a day of leisure and enjoyment with grief. The incident involved the drowning of a father and his daughter, casting a pall of sorrow over the area. Local authorities swiftly responded to the distress call, dispatching personnel to the scene.
The distressing event occurred near the tranquil Jayatpad village within the picturesque Bhatghar Dam valley. This idyllic setting had attracted four families who had come together to spend quality time amidst the beauty of nature.
Reports indicate that during the afternoon hours, some of the tourists ventured into the waters of the dam for recreational purposes. Tragically, this leisurely activity took a devastating turn, leading to the drowning of thirteen-year-old Aishwarya Shirish Dharmadhikari and her father, Shirish Manohar Dharmadhikari.
The local community immediately sprang into action, joining hands with rescue teams to initiate a thorough search operation.
