Swift Justice: Pune’s Khadak Police Recover Stolen Cash Worth Rs 5.25 Lakhs in Two-Hour Operation

Shukrawar Peth: The efficient team at the Khadak police station in Pune successfully recovered stolen cash totaling Rs 5.25 lakhs within just two hours of receiving the complaint. The cash had been stolen from a cake material shop in the Kashewadi area.

The arrested suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Akash, also known as Zurlya Vitthal Patole, a resident of Kashewadi, Bhawani Peth, Pune. Police have indicated that he has multiple theft cases registered against him.

The complaint was lodged by Hafizur Rahman Kayamuddin Ansari (50), who resides in Nanapeth, Pune.

As per the complaint, the burglary occurred between 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 15th, and 8 a.m. on Monday, October 16th. Promptly upon receiving the complaint, the Khadak police team sprang into action, successfully apprehending the suspect and recovering the stolen cash within a remarkably brief two-hour period. This rapid response was made possible by a crucial tip-off received by vigilant policemen Ashish Chavan and Akshay Kumar Wable.

The operation was carried out under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 1) Sandeep Singh Gill, ACP (Faraskhana Division) Ashok Dhumal, and Senior Police Inspector Sunil Mane. The diligent team included Police Inspector (Crime) Sampatrao Raut, Assistant Police Inspector Rakesh Jadhav, Nitinkumar Naik, Police Sub-Inspector Aziz Baig, and dedicated policemen such as Sandeep Talekar, Ashish Chavan, Sagar Ghadge, Mangesh Gaikwad, Sagar Kudle, Akshay Kumar Wable, Rafiq Nadaf, Lakhan Dhaware, Sameer Tamboli, Tejas Pande, and Ashraf Shaikh.
