Sunetra Pawar’s Potential Candidature for Baramati Loksabha Sparks Interest in NCP Circles

In a significant development, NCP State President Sunil Tatkare hinted at the possibility of Sunetra Pawar contesting from the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency. Speaking at a meeting of the Pune City NCP (Ajit Pawar) party, Tatkare mentioned the growing demand from the public and party workers for Sunetra Pawar’s candidature in the upcoming elections.

Tatkare emphasized that the decision on seat allocation in the coalition, known as the Maha-Yuti, will be based on a thorough assessment of the current political landscape, party strength, and capabilities across various Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra. Given the historical stronghold of the NCP in the Baramati constituency, Tatkare indicated that NCP (AP) would seek this seat for its candidate under the Grand Alliance.

The official announcement of the candidate for the Baramati Lok Sabha seat is expected after the finalization of seat allocation in the Maha-Yuti. Responding to media inquiries about MP Supriya Sule’s comments on Sunetra Pawar’s candidature, Tatkare highlighted the commonality of lacking experience in one’s initial political endeavors. He pointed out that everyone has a first time in politics, drawing a parallel to Supriya Sule’s early political journey.

In recent developments, MP Supriya Sule challenged Sunetra Pawar to a debate on any topic at any venue. Sunetra Pawar, the wife of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and sister-in-law of Supriya Sule, is gaining attention as the political landscape in Baramati undergoes potential shifts.
