PUNE: MLA Siddharth Shirole has made a suggestion to the PMPML administration that a depot of PMPML should be started at the place of octroi naka at Aundh Gaon for convenience of citizens.
Shirole conducted an inspection of a vacant plot of PMPML near the octroi naka at Aundh Gaon on Tuesday. The plot was taken on rent by a private company for parking of private buses. But for some reasons, the company vacated the plot. However, private buses of a company are still parked there. Hence, there is lot of garbage on the plot and it has become a den of illegal activities, as per the complaints of residents, said Shirole.
Shirole instructed PMPML officials to remove the buses and start a depot of PMPML. He told officials to start services to Pune city, Pimpri Chinchwad and Pune Rural area.
Vasant Tatya Junavane, Balasaheb Ranvade, Sachin Wadekar, Anand Chhajed, Supreme Chondhe, Sachin Manvatkar, Sourabh Kundalik, Sagar Madne, Satish Gavhane of PMPML and other officials were present.
