PUNE: Due to the block in the Bhusaval division, many trains have been cancelled. Because of continuous holidays, many tourists are going to their native place. Hence, there was a huge rush at the Swargate and Shivaji Nagar ST stands on Saturday. Government employees and employees of private companies have got long leave and they had come to the ST stands with their families. All the buses were very crowded.
There was a huge rush at the main platform and platforms of Solapur, Satara, Kolhapur and Baramati platforms at the Swargate ST stand. There were crowds outside the reservation counters.
The ST administration had taken care to ensure that the travellers are able to commute by buses and to prevent any untoward incident. More security guards were seen at the Swargate stand.
