SPPU’s Ambassadors of Culture: 50 Students Embark on Educational-Cultural Odyssey to Assam with YUVA SANGAM

Pune : Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is sending forth a cohort of 50 students on an Educational-Cultural study tour to Assam, marking the third phase of the YUVA SANGAM initiative. The program, held at the Dnyaneshwar Auditorium of Pune University, witnessed dignitaries waving off the students with best wishes for their journey.

Farewell Ceremony: The farewell ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice President of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and members of the SPPU Management Council, including Jyotsna Ekbote, Ravindra Shinganapurkar, Sandeep Palve, Nitin Ghorpade, NSS Director Prof. Dr. Sadanad Bhosale, and Director of the Students’ Development Council, Abhijit Ghorpade.

Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat Initiative: Aligned with the Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat scheme, YUVA SANGAM aims to facilitate the exchange of cultural and educational ideas among students from different states. Maharashtra is partnering with Assam in this phase of the initiative. The selected students will engage in the study tour from January 16 to January 26.

Best Wishes for the Journey: The dignitaries extended their best wishes to the students, symbolizing the start of their educational-cultural journey to Assam by waving the green flag.

This initiative not only broadens the horizons of students through cultural exchange but also contributes to the vision of a united and culturally enriched India.
